Third party insurance

Third-party insurance is essentially a form of liability insurance purchased for protection against the claims of another (third party). This insurance will cover third party damages & driver & passengers up to 100.000,00 euros , but will not cover your own vehicle damages. The driver is completely responsible for any damages or losses to the rented vehicle.

GENERAL INSURANCE TERMS

All insurances are automatically invalidated if:

The driver does not comply with the highway code
The vehicle is driven on a non-permitted road (white on the map)
The driver continues driving with a flat tyre (broken tyre)
The driver continues driving when the vehicle is overheated
The driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol
The driver abused the car or behaves with disrespect

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (C.D.W.)

A collision damage waiver (CDW) is additional insurance coverage offered in the rental (except scooters & Atv’s) in order to provide a maximum self risk depending on the vehicle model. It covers material and body damage for both vehicles up to 500.000,00 €. It covers also the driver and the passengers of both vehicles. It will cover all material damages to own vehicle, with an excess,(* board) EXCEPT damages to mirrors, windows, windscreens & damages under the vehicle.

FULL DAMAGE WAIVER (F.D.W.)

A full damage waiver (FDW) covers completely the excess that CDW does not cover ,in most of the vehicles, plus all exterior parts except under the vehicle , with extra charge per day . Exclusive vehicles have a minimum deduction to 500,00 €
